Offers intensive psychiatric and dual recovery (mental health/substance abuse) treatment, including individual/group therapy and psychiatric consultation, are offered five days per week for adults eighteen years of age or older. For persons with dual treatment needs, specialty treatment is provided within the program, while supports are provided to encourage ongoing participation in community recovery meetings. Recovery Homes/Halfway Houses * Dual Diagnosis
About this Resource
Provides intensive, short-term residential psychiatric and dual recovery (mental health and substance abuse) treatment. This program is often used as an alternative to or step down from a hospital-based inpatient unit. For some residents, the program offers a respite from stressful life circumstances and most participate in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in order to receive intensive treatment to learn how to better understand, cope with and manage their illness and find more success in their recovery journey after discharge. In addition to their treatment activities, DAS program staff support residents with their daily living activities and medication and other health needs, while also coordinating social and recreational activities. DAS staff also work closely with the PHP staff and other staff, invested family and community supports to help ensure smooth and effective discharge planning.
